Terms of Service

Sleuthly aggregates information from public sources and links each source. Results are clues, not proof. We do not guarantee that results are accurate, complete, current, or about the person you intended. You are responsible for independently verifying any information and for how you use it.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, including any warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sleuthly LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service. Our aggregate liability is limited to [liability cap]. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

• You must be of legal age to form a binding contract and are not permitted to use Sleuthly if you are a minor.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure.
• You must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or ban accounts that violate it.

The following applies once paid reports are live (Phase 1):

• Pricing is pay-per-report; no subscription traps.
• Zero results = no charge.
• One-click refund within 24 hours of purchase.
• Your billing statement descriptor will read [billing descriptor].

For EU consumers, where you request immediate performance of a digital service, you may be asked to consent to immediate execution and acknowledge that you waive the 14-day right of withdrawal for that digital content/service (Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16). Sleuthly, its branding, and the structure and presentation of results are owned by Sleuthly LLC or its licensors. You may not copy, resell, or scrape the service except as expressly permitted.

These Terms are governed by [governing law / venue], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply.

We may update these Terms. We will revise the “last updated” date and, where required, notify you of material changes. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
