Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets the rules for using Sleuthly, provided by Sleuthly LLC, a U.S. limited liability company. It is part of our Terms of Service. Sleuthly reads public presence, it does not fabricate it.
1. Prohibited uses
You must not use Sleuthly to:
- Stalk, harass, threaten, intimidate, or doxx any person.
- Screen or discriminate against people based on protected characteristics (e.g., ethnicity, religion, health, sexual orientation, or other protected categories).
- Make or support unlawful decisions, or any decision covered by the U.S. Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), see /fcra.
- Research, profile, or target minors.
- Bypass logins, access private areas, or use data obtained unlawfully.
- Create, impersonate, or manipulate identities.
2. No FCRA-covered decisions
Sleuthly is not a consumer reporting agency. You must not use it for employment, credit, insurance, housing/tenant screening, or any other decision covered by the FCRA or similar laws. See our FCRA disclaimer.
3. Consequences of violations
We may suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate this AUP, decline service, and, where lawful and appropriate, retain logs and cooperate with authorities to address abuse and protect potential victims.
4. Reporting abuse
To report misuse or to raise a concern as a potential victim, use /report-abuse or contact info@sleuthly.io.
