Find out where your photos appear online.

Upload one of your own photos and we'll search the public web across countries to show where that image, and the same face, shows up. With the source of every result.

Your search is private and silent, the person you look up is never notified.

We don't store your photo. Your report doesn't enter our index. We don't profile you or anyone else.

Your photos travel, sometimes without you.

Why people check their photos

Reused on sites you've never seen.

Photos get copied onto other profiles, blogs, listings and stock-style sites. An image search across countries shows where yours turn up.

Fake profiles using your face.

Scammers and impersonators sometimes build fake accounts with someone else's photos. We look for the same person, not only the exact same file.

You can only act on what you can see.

Once you know where a photo appears, you can ask for it to be taken down, each result links to its source.

Exact copies vs the same face, and what we honestly find.

Search by photo

Looks for the same image. It's strong at finding exact and near-exact copies, including many that have been cropped, resized, or lightly edited (filters, recoloring, small overlays), and mirrored (flipped) versions in many cases.

Search by face

Looks for the same person across different photos, different angles, outfits or settings, not just copies of one file.

What we can't promise.

Heavily edited, AI-altered, or deepfaked images may not be recognized, and not every copy on the web is publicly findable. We show what we can confirm and link its source, and we tell you when a result is a weak or uncertain match rather than claiming certainty.

Check your image in three steps.

  1. 1

    Upload one of your photos.

A clear photo of you, or the image you want to check, works best.

  2. 2

We search the public web, across countries.

We find copies of the same image and the same face on other photos. Results aren't limited to your country.

  3. 3

You see where it appears, with the source.

Each result links back to the page that hosts it, so you can decide what to do next.

How well this works depends on the photo, here's why →

Protect-your-photos questions.

Do you find edited, cropped or mirrored versions of my photo?
Often, yes, search by photo finds many exact and near-exact copies, including cropped, resized, lightly edited and mirrored (flipped) versions. Heavily edited, AI-altered or deepfaked images may not be recognized, and not every copy online is publicly findable. We're honest about which matches are strong and which are weak.
Can you find fake profiles using my face?
Search by face looks for the same person across different photos, which can surface profiles built with your images. We can't guarantee we'll find every one, but we show what we can confirm, with the source.
What can I do once I find a copy?
Each result links to the page hosting it, so you can request removal or a takedown there. Many sites and platforms have a reporting flow for this.
Do you store the photo I upload?
No. It's used only to run your search and isn't stored. It never enters our index, and we don't sell your searches.
What if you find nothing?
That usually means we didn't find public copies of your photo on the web we searched, good news for your image. You can join the Footprint Watch waitlist to be alerted if that changes.
Is it limited to my country?
No, we search the public web across countries, which is where reused photos often turn up.
